Mixed Media Paintings by Hawa Kaba
“Hawa is a unique visual storyteller whose art doesn’t need to use any words to tell the tale… when experiencing her paintings, you immediately know and feel the intimate exotic African story that’s unfolding before you. Hawa accomplishes this feat through her dazzling inter-weaving of earth-toned paints, salient and perfectly chosen images and a myriad of idiosyncratic materials that are perfectly balanced in composition and artfully balanced in emotion. “
Lynda Pogue writes for ARTisSpectrum magazine in New York and Women with Vision magazine in Ontario.
